Primé dans de nombreux festivals, et avec plus de 100'000 entrés en Suisse, le film Azzurro est honoré une fois de plus: La musique originale de Louis Crelier a été nominée aux World Soundtrack Awards 2001. La remise des prix a eu lieu le 18 octobre 2001 à Gand (Belgique) pendant le Festival du film des Flandres. 

  

La chanson Quante cose chiare musique de Louis Crelier, paroles de Lucia Albertoni, est une des cinq chansons nominées dans la catégorie « Meilleur chanson écrite pour un film » aux côtés des chansons composées pour : ATLANTIS (James Newton Howard), ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE (John Williams), FELICIDADE (Daniel Tarrab) and MOULIN ROUGE (David Baerwald).
